The Beast

November Challenge CAPTAIN CYMRU

This is one of the toughest challenges out there, but it's for a good cause so it's worth a bit of sweat (read a lot of sweat and probably a few tears).

What is The Beast?

Whereas the basic November Challenge requires people from all walks of life and abilities to take on the challenge of running or walking 1 mile a day for 30 days The Beast takes it a bit further.

You start at 1 mile on day one and and a mile for each day of the challenge, easy right?

Wrong. This adds up to a whopping 465 miles in just 30 days with 190 of those compressed into the final week. This is a test of endurance that few actually complete.

The rules are simple enough. You can complete the target milage for the day in any combination within the 24 hour period, so for example on day 20 you can run 10 miles in the morning and 10 miles in the evening. To complete the challenge you must take part in the final day event where all beast are to run the final 30 miles together. This will be held on a course in South Pembrokeshire, Wales.

There are very limited places so when entry opens you'll need to act fast if you want to get one of the most exclusive (and biggest) medals around.
